Status page
The status page says whether each part of Jiayang Cloud is working, how it has done over the last 90 days, and what we know when something goes wrong. Anyone can read it, and anyone can get its updates by email. You don’t need an account for either.
What it shows
Section titled “What it shows”Components. The dashboard, the API, your apps and the gateway that scripts call apps through. Our checks reach each one from outside, the way you do, every minute. A component is Degraded after one failed check, or when it answers slowly, and Down after two failed checks in a row. If the checks stop reporting for 15 minutes, the page stops showing each component’s state rather than show an old one, and says when they last ran. We’re told when that happens too.
Uptime over the last 90 days. A bar for each day, in UTC, for each component, and the share of checks over those days that found it up. A minute counts as down when the check in it found the component down. A slow answer, or a single failed check, shows as degraded and still counts as up. A day nothing checked shows as no data, and isn’t counted either way.
Incidents. When something goes wrong, we post what we know, update it as that changes, and say when it’s over.
Maintenance. Planned work is announced before it starts, with the window it takes. It shows as scheduled, then under way, and goes when the window ends. Work we call off leaves the page early, and subscribers are told.
Get updates by email
Section titled “Get updates by email”We email you when we post an incident, update it or resolve it, and when we schedule maintenance or call it off. Each update comes once, to each address that confirmed before we posted it.
- Open the status page and select Subscribe with your email address, or go to
https://app.jiayang.cloud/status-updates. - Enter your email address and select Subscribe.
- Open the link we email you, and select Confirm. Nothing else is sent until you do. The link works for 48 hours.
The answer is the same whether or not the address was subscribed already, so the form says nothing about who subscribed. An address can be asked for three times a day, subscribed or not, and gets at most three links to confirm. When the list is full, the form says so to everyone. If the form says to try again later, wait for the time it gives.
Stop the emails
Section titled “Stop the emails”Every email has an Unsubscribe link, and your mail app’s own unsubscribe button works too. Either stops them at once, and we delete your address. An address that was never confirmed is deleted 48 hours after we sent its link. The privacy policy has the rest.
When something is wrong and the page doesn’t say so
Section titled “When something is wrong and the page doesn’t say so”Write to support@jiayang.cloud with the workspace, the app and the time. Troubleshooting covers the errors apps and the CLI show.
